/World War I

This unit carries on from the unit on Imperialism to understand the causes, outcomes, and significance of WWI. For this unit students took part in extensive reading, note-taking, and discussion leading up to an open-book test.

Unit Overview

In this unit, I have achieved in learning about WWI and how it affected the world until present day. For example, I learned the causes, outcomes, and significance of it. After reading and taking notes, we had a class discussion. All of these lead up to an open-book test. Overall, our world today would not be the way it is if this war had not happened.

Personal Overview

How did WWI affect the world?

Hence the name “World War I,” this war has affected the entire world. WWI has affected the world positively and negatively. This was the first war on earth to use massive weapons such as bombs, guns, tear gas, and trucks. The landform of certain countries would not be the way they are today if it was not for the war.
